APEX TECHNICAL SCHOOL
TRANSFER OF CREDIT POLICY

As you transfer schools, you’re probably wondering, “Do technical college credits transfer to Apex?” Learn Apex Tech’s transfer policy below as you begin the process.

TRANSFER STUDENTS

Apex accepts very few transfer students. Admissions applicants with past formal training may be granted transfer credit toward program completion at Apex. The School Director may grant transfer credit for coursework taken at another accredited school in which a grade of “C”; or better was earned. Transferred work must be substantially equivalent to the corresponding segments for which the student is seeking credit at Apex. Transfer credit does not carry a grade, and thus has no impact on a student’s Grade Point Average (GPA).

Students must furnish official transcripts from each accredited post-secondary school previously attended to receive applicable transfer credit. All transcripts must be sent directly from the issuing institution to the School Director at Apex. Official transcripts and course descriptions, if needed, must be received by the School Director before the start of the program at Apex.

Students may not receive combined transfer and proficiency credit totaling more than 50% of the program for which they are enrolled.

ACCEPTANCE OF APEX CREDIT AT OTHER SCHOOLS

Apex makes no claims of transferability of credit earned at Apex to other schools or programs. In all cases, the transferability of credit is at the discretion of the receiving institution, and hence is outside of Apex’s control.
