The U.S. Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) enforces, among other statutes, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972. Title IX protects people from discrimination based on sex in education programs or activities that receive Federal financial assistance. Title IX states that: No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.
Apex Tech wants students to understand the requirements to receive financial aid, and their rights throughout the process.
The program net cost to you is dependent on what type of financial aid you qualify for. There are a number of factors to consider, it would be best to speak with our admissions and financial aid team regarding the statement of charges.
It is important for students to understand the school’s academic policies. Apex Tech maintains academic standards and performance measures to ensure that our graduates are well prepared to succeed in the workplace.
Of course, our Financial Aid Officers are ready to help students through the entire financial aid process. However, students can also “do it themselves” or learn more about the application process by utilizing this link that gives students detailed application information.
These policies are applicable for students who withdraw or otherwise fail to complete their program of study at Apex Tech.
Apex Tech has created a set of rules for our interactions with student loan lenders to ensure that our students are always given unbiased advice about education loan providers.
Apex Tech encourages students to be active participants in the American political system as part of being responsible members of their community. Further, each year, the school celebrates “Constitution Day” on September 17 and offers activities to educate our students about the U.S. system of government and their role within it.
Apex Technical School will make reasonable accommodations for students with documented disabilities in order to ensure students with disabilities have equal access and opportunity to pursue their educational goals. It should be noted that due to the technical nature of our programs, some places within our facilities may not be accessible to mobility-impaired persons.
